Titled ‘Love You Pappu’, the roughly 2-minute 30-second video clip is about the letter written by 23 senior Congress leaders to party’s interim president Sonia Gandhi just ahead of the Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting held on August 24.
This is the second teaser of a film being made by Rahul Gandhi’s ex-aide Pankaj Shankar. The first one was released earlier this year.
Since the CEC meeting, some of the 23 leaders have been ignored by the high command in appointments to posts in both houses of Parliament and in the organisation.

A cold war is on between some of the 23 leaders, such as leader of opposition in the Rajya Sabha Ghulam Nabi Azad, Rajya Sabha MP Kapil Sibal, Thiruvanthapuram MP Shashi Tharoor and Anandpir Sahib MP Manish Tewari.
The video starts with a shot of a woman entering a certain Yuvraj’s office, where there is a portrait of Mahatma Gandhi hanging on the wall of the visitors’ room. The world celebrates 151st Gandhi Jayanti on Friday.
While the woman appears impatient, Gandhiji’s portrait comes alive and looks at her with a grim face. He remembers how he was turned down by his PA last time when he was told that Yuvraj was sleeping because he had worked till late the previous night. However, the video clip shows Yuvraj actually racing at high speed on his bike on empty roads at night.
Gandhiji emerges out of his portrait and sits on a chair.
The womans sees him with a sense of surprise and awe, touches his feet and exclaims: “Bapuji, aap abhi tak intzaar kar rahey hain kya (Are you still waiting till now)?”
Gandhiji says, “Daughter, I come here everyday to wake him up. Have been trying for the past 16 years (to wake him up).”
The woman is shocked and asks whether Yuvraj does not listen to him either. “I have an appointment with him today,” she says.
Gandhiji asks whether she would do him a favour.
When the woman heartily agrees, Gandhiji says, “When you meet him, tell him (Jawaharlal) Nehru, Indira (Gandhi) and Rajiv (Gandhi) had come also come to meet him (Yuvraj). But they went back after waiting for two hours.”
The woman asks him whether they had come with a specific purpose.
Gandhiji replied: “They had come to caution him (Yuvraj) not to level allegations of stealing against those who are loyal partymen. Do not humiliate them by speaking ill against them. The party (Congress) will get destroyed. The party is as much theirs as yours.”
The woman asks whether Nehru, Indira and Rajiv had come to speak on behalf of and in favour of the 23 partymen who had written a letter (to Congress president Sonia Gandhi).
Just as Gandhiji nodded his head, Yuvraj’s PA enters the visitor’s room and asks the woman about the purpose of her visit.
She tells him that she had an appointment with Yuvraj at 9.30. He expresses surprise and says how could that happen as he did not have any information.
The woman says Yuvraj gave her the appointment through email. He asks her to wait.
The woman agrees to wait and turns back to take her seat. The PA says actually she would have to wait for a week as Yuvraj is travelling.
She asks, “Why did Yuvraj call me today for a meeting?”
The PA says only Yuvraj could give an answer to this. At that point of time he receives a call on his mobile. He asks the caller about the person who handles Yuvraj’s personal emails.
The woman feels dejected and starts sobbing while Gandhiji returns to the portrait, appearing anguished.
